In 11th century Singapore, a yam-born demigod - worshipped and fed on by the islanders, is cast aside when a shipwrecked beast arouses a great obsession across the island. As he deals with this loss of place, he is pulled into a nightmarish descent into madness and jealousy.

Short Synopsis:

Dora Gerson- one of six million and just another “number”-, an anonymous victim met her untimely death in Auschwitz in February 1943, along with her husband Max Sluizer and their two children, Abel 3 years & Miriam 6 years. Prior to this Dora was by no means anonymous and destined for greatness, she launched her meteoric career as actress singer and dancer in the famous cabaret scene and film scene of Berlin in the 1920’s and becoming a star of stage & screen. When in the 1930’s she could not work in Berlin anymore, she emigrated to Amsterdam. With Jewish colleagues from Berlin, Geza Weisz and Chaia Goldstein they continued the Ping Pong cabaret which started in 1931 in Berlin. In their political engaged program, they were critical on Hitler's Third Reich. Till 1938 she also worked with Wim Kan and Corry Vonk. A group of devotees and family around the world are determined to reinstate her legacy and celebrate her life rather than commemorate her tragic death, 

In an attempt to hold a gala in her honor by recreating the songs & skits that brought her to the forefront of European culture. Avidly reconstructing the sets, costumes and atmosphere from this iconic era and seek to cast the “new” Dora Gerson, and in doing so, find out more about their elusive & extraordinary heroine.
